A busy day for our curator today; with help from Archivist Craig all of the Flint from 2024's excavation at the Lees Court Estate has been collected and brought back to our office for cataloguing. Once weighed and counted, the material will be sent to a lithic specialist for reporting!

It's #FindsFriday! Check out our Curator as he discusses a small 4th to mid 5th century Roman military buckle found by metal detectorist Neil Green during Studying History and Archaeology in Lympne's recent excavation, at which the KAS assisted. Andy is in the process of cataloguing all of the registered finds from 2024 ahead of planned publication in 2025.
