Making a Saxon Sword

Description: The next in a series of online talks hosted by the KAS, with Experimental Archaeologist Alexander Read. What is experimental archaeology and how does it help us figure out how things were made? We take a look at an Early Anglo-Saxon sword from the cemetery at Sarre, and use experimental archaeology to explain how it was made, and show the technologies available to the Saxon blacksmiths.
