The Reports section of the Kent Archaeological Society website brings together a wide range of archaeological and historical reports relating to Kent, creating a valuable reference point for researchers and the wider heritage community. This includes excavation reports, fieldwork summaries, survey results, assessments, and other forms of grey literature that document work carried out across the county. We invite contributions from professional units, local societies, academic institutions, and independent researchers to help expand this important resource.
Submissions may include full reports, interim accounts, unpublished material, and summaries of completed work. In addition to full-text documents, we also welcome bibliographic references, report listings, and citations to material held elsewhere (such as archives, local record offices, or digital repositories). By including references as well as reports themselves, the section aims to function as a comprehensive guide to the available evidence and research activity relating to Kent.
Entries may be selected for inclusion in the Society’s Reports section to support access to information and encourage further study. When submitting, please provide clear details including title, author(s), date, location, and, where possible, a summary and links to the full report or repository. Our editorial team may make minor edits for clarity and consistency before publication. By contributing, you help build a more complete and accessible record of archaeological and historical work across Kent.
