Curatorial work experience

Auden has seen how Andy responds to email enquiries regarding the society's collections, how he plans the society's social media outputs across Facebook, Instagram, BlueSky, Tiktok and LinkedIn, and Auden has assisted Andy with processing of the Farningham Villa excavation undertaken by the Kent Archaeological Rescue Unit. Auden tried his hand at 3D scanning of this lovely Romano-British beaker base, which Andy hopes to be able to 3D print during the week.

This has given Auden a taste of the life of an archaeological Curator and hopefully will stand him in good stead in his desire to become a finds specialist!
