Challenges facing Kent’s Archaeology

The Archaeology Research Group had an excellent turnout at their forum on Saturday at the wonderful Aylesford Priory; over 53 people attended from affiliate groups, individual members, and non-members taking advantage of our 6 month membership offer.

The presentations were very well received and the discussions both during the Q&As and the much needed tea breaks raised excellent points to take forward.

A big thank you to Andy Ward, Ann Watson, Keith Parfitt and Jacob Scott for organising the day and for everyone for attending in such good spirits.

A write up will follow and the main points raised will be taken forward to the board of trustees.

We were successfully able to record the sessions which can now be found on our website and youtube channels: www.kentarchaeology.org.uk/videos/challenges-facing-kents-archaeology and on YouTube here

Plenty to think about for next years forum!
