Festive Fun

The now-established festive Christmas lunch took place at the Hop Farm Country Park. The Cobnar bookstall provided a centre of interest and members displayed their own publications. Entertainment was provided by the Thomas Clarke Quire in period dress, singing music heard in churches in the eighteenth century. A group of members followed this with a visit to the David Salomons house at Southborough which proved to be awe-inspiring. Those present voted unanimously for a similar event to be held Christmas 2003!
