Update from the Archaeologia Cantiana Editor
We would like to sincerely thank Deborah Saunders, who has volunteered for a number of years working alongside David Killingray compiling the Annual Bibliography of Kentish Archaeology and History for the society’s journal Archaeologia Cantiana. Her diligence in compiling the annual bibliography of books, articles, reports, and pamphlets has always been well received and greatly appreciated by the Society’s members.
With her retirement, a volunteer opportunity has arisen with Archaeologia Cantiana to assist in the compilation of the Kent Bibliography. Working alongside the Kent History and Library Centre, Canterbury Cathedral Library, and other Kent archives, the compiler will collate relevant new entries from 2024 onwards and index these for the journal editor.

Call for Papers!
Submissions are now open for papers to be published in Archaeologia Cantiana v.148.
Archaeologia Cantiana welcomes submissions on all aspects of Kent’s archaeology and history. To maintain high academic standards for the journal, submissions will be peer-reviewed to ensure that good quality research is published by determining the validity, significance and originality of the study and its suitability for the audience of this esteemed county history journal.
The deadline for submission is September 2026. Please follow the guidelines provided and submit all papers to the journal editor, Jason Mazzocchi: jason.mazzocchi@kentarchaeology.org.uk
