Update from the Membership Secretary

I am pleased to report that there continues to be a steady increase in membership. We have welcomed over 20 new members in the past 2 months. Membership fees remain the same:

• Individual Membership - £40 p.a.
• Family/Joint Membership - £60 p.a.
• Affiliate Membership - £50 p.a.
• Institution Subscription - £45 p.a.

We have received encouraging feedback from members regarding our outreach and engagement activities and are looking forward to a well-attended AGM in May.

KAS AGM, 30th May 2026, 10.00am - 12.00pm, to be held at Lenham Community Centre.

Transport: Free car parking at venue. Lenham Station is a 20-minute walk away. Stagecoach 510 bus service between Maidstone and Ashford stops at Lenham.

I have recently sent an email to members asking whether they are interested in a paperback copy of Archaeologia Cantiana 2026. Please respond as soon as possible if you are interested in a hard copy of the journal.

We would like to make members, and those considering membership, aware that fees can now be paid on a monthly basis. If this would be beneficial to you, or you are aware of anyone who would like to join the Society, do get in touch. We also have a new donation and legacy page on the website.

Any non-members purchasing a ticket for our conferences in 2026 can take advantage of 6 months membership for an additional £20. Contact us for further details. Details of all events, upcoming news and online talks will be distributed to all members. If anyone is experiencing issues logging into the system, or any of the society special access areas, please contact me at:
