Update from the Society Membership Secretary
There continues to be a steady increase in membership and encouraging feedback from members who have been impressed and excited by our outreach and engagement activities. We have welcomed over 20 new members since July.
We have been slightly restricted by the unforeseen building damage to Marsham Street; however, we are pleased to report that we are working on alternate opportunities for volunteers and will be welcoming them back soon.
Our conference program has been a priority, and we are delighted to promote the upcoming KAS conference events:
The Historic Buildings Group Conference took place on the 11th October and was a fantastic success. We will publish a full review of the conferences in the Winter edition of the magazine.
Metal Detecting in Kent: Moving Forward Together — Saturday 25th October 2025, 10.15am – 5.00pm
Thanet & Northeast Kent Fieldwork Conference — Saturday 22nd November 2025, 10.00am – 5.30pm
