Archaeology Research Group Fieldwork Grant

Do you have a fieldwork project that you would like to apply for funding for?

The KAS’s Archaeology Research Group (ARG) offers a fieldwork grant for research and projects focusing on the archaeology of the ancient county of Kent.

In view of the restricted funds at the Society’s disposal, it may be necessary to apportion available money for research among a number of applicants, resulting in each receiving less than the amount requested. Careful consideration will be given to the respective merits of each application with preference being given to smaller organisations and individuals.

Funding of up to £1000 can be applied for from the ARG, with larger sums requiring trustee approval. Grants over £600 will require the name and address of a referee who may be approached to confirm the good standing of the applicant.
