Update from the Society Membership Secretary
There has been a steady increase in membership and extremely pleasing and enthusiastic feedback from members, volunteers and members of the public who have engaged with the society over the last few months.
Since moving to the new membership system, we have had over 175 members join, from volunteers through to Affiliated Societies, making this an average of 8.75 per month, this is something the Management Team will be looking to build on in the coming year.
We are specifically exploring potential restructuring and benefit options for our student membership. We hope to improve engagement from this demographic and offer training, experience and opportunities to learn in a professional environment, particularly in light of the recent difficult academic environment and university course closures countrywide.
We have been delighted to see great responses to our zoom talks, with frequent messages and comments of encouragement from those who have attended the talks online or viewed the content on our YouTube channel and website. These talks continue, with some fantastic speakers booked until at least December.

We would like to make members, and those considering membership, aware that fees can now be paid on a monthly basis. If this would be beneficial to you, or you are aware of anyone who would like to join the Society, do get in touch.
If anyone is experiencing issues logging into the system, or any of the society special access areas, please contact me at: membership@kentarchaeology.org.uk
