Through its programme of grants, bursaries, and prizes, the Kent Archaeological Society supports research, publication, education, and public understanding of Kent’s past. These opportunities are designed to encourage both established and emerging researchers, as well as teachers and local historians, helping to foster new work in archaeology and history while promoting the careful study and wider appreciation of the county’s rich heritage.
Hasted Prize
Provides authors of successfully completed doctoral theses on the archaeology or history of Kent with grants towards the cost of publishing it in book format.
