Kent Archaeological Society Annual General Meeting

Save the date! On Saturday 17th May the Kent Archaeological Society will be hosting its annual general meeting at Aylesford Priory.

The AGM information pack will be sent out to all qualifying members at their postal address in due course.

Isabelle Diggle, Kent Finds Liaison Officer will be giving a guest lecture: ‘Location, Location, Location: Unlocking the Full Potential of PAS Records Through Coin Findspots’: A brief rundown of the Portable Antiquities Scheme (PAS) through the lens of a Silver unit of the Kent Region / Cantiaci (KENT-FD0722) dating from c. AD 30 - 45. Isabelle will explore how the scheme can be used to look at objects singularly, but also through big data exports and what can be learnt from both.
