A joint meeting of the Archbishops Palace Conservation Trust and the Otford and District Historical Society.
We are preparing the tower for restoration
In the late 17th Century the remaining Palace buildings, including the north north-west Tower, were used as farm buildings.
Before the Trust can reinstate the floors, we need to know what – if anything – lies beneath 350 years of mud and cow dung!
In October, a team from Archaeology SouthEast will be investigating what lies beneath the surface.
To share the results a meeting will be held jointly by the Archbishops Palace Conservation Trust and the Otford and District Historical Society
This is your opportunity to view the ‘finds’ from the dig and hear from one of the team carrying out the investigation.
Join us at Otford Village Memorial Hall on Wednesday 12 12th November. Tea and coffee at 19:30 and the lecture at 19:30h
