It's #FindsFriday! Our student placement Holly has been hard at work illustrating more of our Ozengell Early-Medieval collection.

Today is both #findsfriday and #fossilfriday! Although as archaeologists we don't routinely deal with fossils, we do occasionally come across them.

One of the objects the society has brought along to this year's Kent County Show is this lovely Bartman Jug reportedly found during Peter Tester's excavations at Leeds Priory in the 1970s.

It's #FindsFriday! On Monday 20th June I gave a presentation to Isle of Thanet Archaeological Society on the work the KAS have been carrying out on the Ozengell Anglo-Saxon collection.

For #FindsFriday I thought I would give a sneak peak of what happens after objects are excavated by the society!

We have a bit of a #mysteryobject for #FindsFriday this week. Found by our new curatorial volunteer amongst Arthur Harrison's collection is this small copper-alloy coin(?) which appears to have a hole pierced through the centre.
