After a career in the Army I entered the world of computing during the infancy of the technological revolution that we are current witnessing. I have had a 30-year career working around the world for the big IT companies and governments and I am currently working for the United Nations. Educationally I hold 2 BA Degrees, an MBA and have completed a PhD Thesis and am awaiting its challenge to finalise it.

Like most of us I have always had a deep interest in archaeology and history throughout my life, as my professional career has reached its zenith that interest has grown stronger.

The Society has had a long and illustrious past and I am pleased to be part of a Team that is shaping its new future. I am interested to see how my IT expertise can be utilised to help the Society attract a newer more IT savvy generation, without stepping away from our core ethos and values.
