Surveys of Kent inscriptions and graffiti

The KAS has been collating information from the graveyards of Kent for over 100 years and this data is now being joined by photographic graffiti surveys.

 

Romano-Britain

Before c.600 CE

Many of the earliest inscriptions recovered from around Kent are those of the Romano British before the withdrawal of the Roman legions and administration in 410 CE. Under construction
