Until recently, Boxley Abbey near Maidstone has been one of Kent's least-explored major historic sites. The Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB) has been working across the site to improve its condition, increase understanding and offer training. Archaeology has played an important part in this work, with the SPAB strongly supported by experts from the Kent Archaeological Society and other archaeological groups.

The KAS were pleased to grant of £1,400 to support this year's archaeological work.

A Question & Answer session will conclude the webinar and our speakers will be joined by Deborah Goacher, Stephen Clifton, Nick Hill, Kevin and Lynn Cornwell to field Q&As.
