I was born and grew up in and around Gravesend in North West Kent. I was always fascinated by History and Classical Studies at school and made the decision to study them at University. I completed my Undergraduate degree in History with Archaeology at Canterbury Christ Church University in 2013. I then moved on to complete my Masters degree in Artefact Studies at University College London in 2015.
I am now a professional, commercial archaeologist working for a unit in the South-East. I work as part of the building industry, assessing archaeological remains to prior to building work. I have specialised in Medieval Archaeology, with a particular focus on Medieval pottery.
In my spare time I am a leader for a Kent Young Archaeologists’ Club, where we endeavour to engage young people with history and archaeology. I am keen to bring some of this over to KAS, to help the Society engage with young people and increase the youth voice in the Society.
