Publications Committee
Advises Council on the annual publication of Archaeologia Cantiana and initiatives for acacdemic conferences, research and publication on archaeological and historical projects relating to the county. The Committee also administers the biennial Hasted Prize for a PhD thesis with a Kentish theme, and Thirsk Prize for an MA dissertation.
2019 Thirsk Prize
The latest Thirsk Prize for a Kent related MA Dissertation was awarded to Andrew Ratcliff for his work on Eccles Roman Villa. the title is available in the KAS Library when access is permitted again.
2013 Hasted Prize
Maureen Green was the winner of the 2013 Hasted Prize for a Kent related PhD Her book, The Green Family of Papermakers and Hayle Mill, was published by Legacy Press in 2018.
Migration in Kent
Work continues on preparing for publication the book on migration in Kent arising from an earlier KAS joint conference with the University of Kent
Maritime Kent
The book on Maritime Kent arising from a KAS joint conference with Canterbury Christ Church University in 2018, will be published by Boydell and Brewer in 2021.
War, Trade and the State
