Excavations
at Ringlemere Farm, Woodnesborough, 2002-2006.

Metal-detecting conducted by Cliff Bradshaw in a recently
harvested potato field at Ringlemere Farm, near Sandwich, during
November 2001 led to the discovery of an important prehistoric
gold cup buried at a depth of about 0.40m (Plate I). The
only British parallel for this vessel is
