ROBERT DE PLESELEYE, rector of the church of Suthflet, Rochester Diocese, Monday next after the Feast of St. Dunston, Bp. 1368. To be buried in the church of St. Martin the Great, London. To the chief altar there, a silver chalice gilt, a new missal a great antiphonary, a new gradual and an ordinal of the use of Sarum, a new vestment of the suit of cloth of gold red colour and two corporals of one new suit, a ‘dorsor’ with green field powdered with divers shields and to the altar of Blessed Mary a vestment with chasuble and apparel of green silk cloth and to two Canons Resident in the same church a marc sterling, and to the vicars and perpetual chaplains in the same church resident to divide between then by even portions so that each make prayer to God and to Blessed Martin having my soul in memory, eight marcs sterling. To the Sacrist and his fellow clerks of the same church 10s. and to two choristers 5s. To each convent of house of Friars in the City of London and the Convent of Friars Minors 20s. To Brother Gilbert de Peccham of the same convent 40s., Brother Thomas de Nottle 20s., Br. Robert de Canterbury 6s. 8d. Br. Henry de Codham 3s. 4d., Br. Richd. de Lincoln of the same Convent 3s. 4d. and Br. John de Hattefeld 3s. 4d. To the Nuns of St. Elens London 20s. To Matilda de Kerdeston nun of Halewell 6s. 8d. To the nuns of the same place 13s. 4d. and the nuns of Stratford 20s. The nuns of Kelborne 20s. To Katherine de Melton non of the same place 20s. To the Convent of the House of Minoress outside Agate 13s. 4d. 
To Hugh my brother 5 mrcs. To Roger my brother 40s. To Sir Robert de Dogmersfeld Canon ‘Noni loci’ and John de Dogmersfeld his brother all the debts they owe me. To Agnes de Cromford my niece 20s. To Isabell sister of the said Agnes "j mappam mensalem et j manutergium de illis que fuerunt Agnetis matris sue" and 20s. Beatrice and Alice sisters of the said Isabel 40s. and Alice de Clypston their sister one marc. Margery de Stonham my niece a white silver cup with cover which I had of the gift of "domine mee Is. RB" (sic) a cup ‘of mazer’ with cover ‘depicto de Scuchon’ for the same a bed of ‘wurstede’ white powdered with leopards heads, and 5 marcs for her daughters. To Robert de Stonham my godson 100s., a cup and six silver spoons. Agnes de Kyrtlyngton 20s. and her daughter nun of Farle 13s. 4d. Alice Crook sister of said Agnes a ring and a buckle of gold with a pair of paternosters of ‘aumbre’. To Roger de Mamesfeld servant of the Rector of Suthflet to help him and his sons 100s. a gown of mine and all my wooden vessels in the said Rectory. To Agnes his wife and three boys of Heston my godson 6s. 8d. and to John Sampson my nephew one of my best gowns a little silver cup called "Godett" (?Goblet) and to Robert of Heston my godson 6s. 8d. Sir Robert de Kelby a plain white silver covered cup, a cup of mazer, small with cover painted. To Roger de Riggewey my clerk to help to his sustentation 100s., a little mazer cup with cover to match and foot of white silver, a silver cup that was late my lord the Bishop of Rochester’s without cover and eight silver spoons, a new missal and a little ‘iornal’ for Hours and placebo and dirige. I leave to be distributed to the poor the day of my burial 40s. and wax candles round my corpse and other exequies 5 marcs. Residue in divine services to be celebrated for my soul and the souls of Ralph my father, Agnes my mother Agnes my sister and other brothers and sisters, John de Neusum and Alice his wife, John Bishop of Rochester and other benefactors. Executors: Sir Robert de Kelby rector of the church of Hemebye and Roger de Ryggeweye of Cesterfeld. 
Residue to my executors to distribute to the poor having regard to my parisionrs and my kinsfolk. Dated at London in my dwelling (hospicio) in St. Martin the Great Lane. 
Double Probate on 7 August 1368. "before us John Dand and John Pelham dean of the Free Chapel of St. Martin, London" and on 13 November 1368 "in the chamber of the Register within our manor of Lambeth before Master Walter de Baketon, chancellor and commissary in that behalf" by the executors named. (122b Langham).
