To be buried in the churchyard of the parish church of Blessed Mary of Maydeston. To the high altar 10s. To the work (operi) of the same church 20s. To the work (operi) of the chapel of St. Faith 40s. To the principal parish chaplain of Maydeston 2s. To each other chaplain celebrating as the custom is in the said church 12d. To Laurence Hikelot, parish clerk 2s. To three other parish clerks each 12d. To the fabric (fabrice) of the church of the Canons of Ledes 20s. To the Prior of the same place 20s. To the Carmelite Friars of Eylesford half a marc. To the Friars Preachers of Canterbury half a marc. To the Hermit Friars of St. Augustine of that City half a marc. To the Friars Minors of Canterbury two quarters of wheat and barley. To the said Friars Minors 100s. so that they faithfully celebrate for a year for my soul and the souls of Margery and Mary my wives. To Friar Robert of Canterbury of the order of Friars Minors so that he may pray for my soul etc two quarters of wheat and 13s. 4d.
To John Lorkyn a gown next the best and a seam (summam) of barley. To William Hewe a seam of wheat and of barley. To John Arget two oxen. To Joan his wife three quarters of barley. To Peter Ayet an ox. To John Jekyn two qrs of wheat and two of barley. To John Corby a qrt. of barley. To John Some 4 busshels of wheat and a garment called "gowne". To Adam atte Pette 4 bussh. of wheat and a tunic. To Sir John Marchall, Vicar of Stokebury a quarter of wheat and another of barley. To each other there serving a busshel of wheat. To Johan Geffrey 4 busshels of wheat. In the day of my burial 20 marcs to be distributed to the poor. For the expenses of my month’s day £5, and my anniversary 5 marcs. Residue to Margaret my wife, my principal executrix and the second I make William Hewe. To Cecily and Johanna daughters of Simon Jekyn 4 qrs of wheat and 4 marcs.
