SIR JOHN WYTCLYF, Rector of the parish church of Horstedcaynes and Prebendary of the Cathedral church of Chichester. To be buried in the chapel of the hospital of Saints Peter and Paul of Maydeston, Canterbury diocese. He gave all his goods to Sir John Palmer and John Baker, chaplains to dispose for his soul and those of his parents and friends. Present: the discreet men Sir John Ludham rector of the parish church of Godmersham and Sir Geffrey Fayard, Thomas Boteler and Thomas Bat, chaplains. Certificate of Thomas Wardecopp, clerk, of Carlisle diocese public notary by Apostolic Authority in the year 1383, Seventh Indiction Pontificate of the Most holy Father and Lord in Christ, Urban VIIth Pope, 6th year. 12th November "in hospicio circumspecti viri Willelmi Topclyf" Canterbury Diocese. 
Proved 21 November 1383 at Lamheth by Sir John Palmer and John Baker. (207a Courteney).
