WILLIAM DE PREONE, Rector of Lymynge, 13 August 1404. To be buried in the church of Wolwich before the image of the Holy Trinity. To the high altar of Wolwych 20s. To the high altar of Plumsted 6s. 8d. To the fabric (fabrice) of the church of Plomsted 20s. To the high altar of Cherleton 5s. To John, clerk of Wolwych 10s. To the Prior of Preone (Salop) 20s. To the fabric of the church of Preone 40s. I leave 40s. to be distributed between the poor parishioners of Preone. To the fabric of the chapel of Pullyrbache 20s. To the fabric of the church of Biridon 20s. 
To Margaret Ballard 20s., Agnes Mitton a silver cup which she has in her keeping and 20s. To Alice Selby a silver cup she has in her keeping with 40s. To Margaret Brokhole 20s. To Robert Frankeleyn a horn with silver bands. To the fabric of the church of St. Botulph at the place called Botulwarf 10s. To the fabric of the church of St. George in Estchepe 10s. I leave to each boy I am godfather 10s. To Thomas Legg my attendant (famulo) my cart with horses and all the belongings. I leave to five houses of Friars in the City 20s. To Margery Ridle all my utensils belonging to the Kitchen in my house late Richard Pye’s viz brass pots, saucers, pitchers together with "vasculis de pectro", a cup of silver, a cup of ‘murra’ (maser), 6 silver spoons and a basin and ewer and candelabra of laton and the whole bed in which I lie. I leave to Sir Sepharo Hoppere 40s. 
To the Vicar of Lymynge a red bed. To Richard de Symond, clerk, 6s. 8d. To the fabric of the church ‘de la Lee’ 6s. 8d. To the vicar of Potelyng 10s. I leave to each rector and vicar dwelling in benefices in the deanery of Derteford 40s. I leave to the hermit of the place called Longsole 10s. I leave to Sir Richard, parish chaplain of St. George the best gown I have. To Alice Horn 40s. To Sir John who was my chaplain the second best (what is not stated). To the Hermit of Longesole my third gown. To John Cheseman 40s. To Parnel his wife 13s. 4d. To four men to carry my body to burial, each 6s. 8d. viz: John Frost and John Frost his brother (sic), John Burd and Ralph Page and that they may be vested in black similarly twelve poor men to carry the lights. I leave to Thomas Legge my servant 30s. To Thomas Nawgat 30s. To amending the King’s way between Swethille (clearly so written) and Wellyng 6s. 8d. Residue according to discretion of my executors viz: Sir Sepharus Hoppere, John Tot, Wm. Mitton citizen and saddler of London and John Selby citizen and skinner of London.
