I leave to my Lord of Canterbury "unu’ Ostreu in summa secundo fo naturalis". I leave to the College of St. Mary, Wynton, in Oxford my books viz "p’uum volumen et ff interciatum et ff novum et librum Innocenci" which Master John Norton has at Oxford. Item a book ‘Cirorgie’ with many tracts 2° fol. ‘Fassia’. Item "Conuement Egidu cum multis tractabz 2º fo de Residuo." I leave to Master John Norton all my "reportorios" which he has in keeping with the chest and other things. To Sir John Chynnok 6s. 8d.
To the parish church of Lyde 5 marcs to buy an antiphonary. To the wife of John Bakere my best gown which she shall choose with hood. To Robert my attendant (famulo) my Russet gown and two blankets and a pair of sheets. To John my attendant 20d. To Walter Type a cloth to make him a gown. To Master William Stapilford a Tranctate 2° fol. "Rex Dominus". Item a book "Magistri Historiarum" incomplete with Genealogies of the Old Testament. To Master William Quarle ‘cantori de Crychyngton’ my baslard and my best girdle. To Lettice (Letrici) my long green gown. To Iden (Idonie) Cuglond a gown, blue (blodii) colour, mixed. To John Broke a short gown blue colour lined. To John Selayr 20d. To Sir Andrew Aylewyn a book called "Pars Oculi". Residue to my executors Sir Andrew Ailewyn, priest, John Baker and Richard Bromley of Lyde.
Probate is not filled in. (340b Chichele I).
