20 May 1625. John Upton of Throwleigh (Throwley) yeoman. To be buried in church or churchyard of Throwleigh.
My eldest son Thomas Upton messuage Inow dwell in and land in Throwleigh, 17 acres in default to my 2 sonnes William and Henry Upton when 21.
To Henry Upton my youngest son my land called Chapmans and Great Bunce in parish of Leveland.
To Margaret Upton my daughter £30 at 21 and to be in hands of Anthony Terry and Thomas Upton.
Residue to Mary my wife, executrice.
Witness John Upton, Henry Upton, John Gyles.
Probate 18 June 1625.
