31 July xl Elizabet 1598. Robert Upton of Westcliffe yeoman. To be buried in parish church of Swynfielde.
   To Abraham Upton my brother that annuite I have in Wanson given me by Valentine Upton my father while hee lyved.
   To Valentine Upton, my brother Abraham Upton his sonne my household stuff at Leechfieldes.
   To Elizabett Clement my sisters daughter 12 shepe at Wanson in keeping of John Durband.
   To Susana Jull, my goddaughter 12 sheepe. To Alse Peers my sister 3 lambes in keeping of my brother in law John Clement at Swanton. To John Peers my brother in law my beste dublette.
   To Marie Clement my sister 9 sheepe. To Edward Clement my sisters son my rapiar and my dagger.
   To William Pulham somtime servant to Mrs Vincent 10s. To Mr Pickering of Dover Xs if he come and preache at my funerall.
   Residue John Clement my brother in law exor.
   In presence of Thomas Pritchard clerke and Valentine Goddyne.
   Probate 23 August 1598.
