XI Nov 1519. William Upton of the parish of Eastlyg (Eastling). To be buried in churchyard of our lady of Easelyng. To the crosse light ijd.
   Johane my wiffe exxcs and to have my tenement called Foxtons and vj acres of land and after her decease John Tyrry of Throwley to sell same to pay my detts. That is to saye Ede Fryur Xs I owed to her of her fathers bequest.
   XXs to a preste to syng that I owe of John Foxtons bequest.
   £4.6.8. to my brother Stephen Upton.
   To Johane my doughter after the decesse of her housband John Frenshe 13/4.
   To Elenor my doughter the residue.
   Witness John Thurston, William Gylberd, chapellen, John Rawley.
    Probate 19 January 1519.
