29 March 1550, 4 Edward 6. John Upton of Osprynge (Ospringe) yoman. To be buried in parish chuch of Osprynge.
   To Marie my daughter 40mk and whereas Elizabeth my wif is with chyld. If a man childe £40 in hands of theyre grandfather Nycholas Fynche gent.
   Nycholas my eldyst sone. John my son. Agnes Fylpott my servant 40s.
   Thomas Fylpott her father not to trouble my exx. My brother Thomas Fynche gent.
To Jone Greneham and John Hyllis my servants. To Humfrey Crippes and Thomas Arnold my servants 20d. To my brother George Fynche gent 26/8. My brother Thomas Fynch gent.
   Witness Nycholas Fynch gent, Mr Ric Catemole, clerk, James Easton thelder.
   My lands in Osprynge, Buckland and Stone. To Elizabeth my wife.
    To Nycholas my son when 22 my messuage I dwell in and the otter on thotter syde of the strete wherin John Brockoll now inhith and otter lands.
   To John my son when 22 land in Stone and Buckland.
