15 September 1543. Felyce Upton of the Towne & Porte of Dover. To be buryed in the church of St Peter’s in Dover byfore the fonte. To the high alter an alter cloth and an other to our ladye aulter. 
   To Johan MERSHE my daughter my house in Brodstrete in Dover and after her desease to Stephene Mershe and in default to Davy Mershe and Johan Mershe and I make ffeofess of the same house Mr Richard Fyneas and Thomas Portwaye.
   To 8 of my daughters children 20 shepe. To Christian COOKE, wife of Richrd Cooke 20 wethers. To Valentyne Upton 20 wethers. To Alice Upton 20 wethers. To my brother Robert WYTHYOTT 20 wethers. To Johan Mershe my daughter the surplus of shepe.
   To Christian and Ales my daughter’s children. To Alyce Upton. To Johan WREKKS. To my daughter Johan a cheste with leggs upon it. To Robert Wythyotts wife my Russett gowne. To Symonde JOYES wyfe my black gowne. To Alexander ALEES wife my black gowne. To mother BLANDRED my best petycote. To Valentyne Upton my cesterne of Leede that ys at Westeclyfe. Residue to Richard Cooke and to John Mershe my daughter.
   Witness: John DELAMORE, priest, John GARBERDYNE, John ADAMS, Richard COOKE and John MERSHE.
   Probate 4 March 1543
