d. 15 Aug 1617. George Cawsten of Lee, yeoman.
   To parish church of Lee 6/8. W. Joane half goods and £100. d. Dennys wife of Thos Bird £10. D. Mathewe wife of Jeremy Giles £10. D. Elizabeth w. of Richard Wattson £10. D. Joane w. of John Giles £10. Dennys Bird d. of said Thomas Bird £10.
   To rest of my childrens children 20s each. To my servants Arnold Miles, Thos Stevens, Joane Surby. Henry Cawsten my nephew son of John Cawsten of Wst Wickham in Co. Kent £132 being the legacy etc. bequested to said enry by John Cawsten his father when he is 21 year.
   To poor of Lee where I ow dwell 10s. To poore of Bromley 10s. To Poore of Lewsham 10s.
   Residue to my son William Cawsten, sole ex.
   In pr of Wilfrid Spicer, Scr. John Tweddell, John Homes.
   Proved. 26 Oct 1626 to Wm Cawsten, son. (entered in Lee Book 12 Sep 1887).
