William Stokham 9 Oct. 1469. To the nave of
the Church 6s 8d & to the parish-clerks there 4d.
Wife (not named) to have two pieces of silver, one bowl
called a maser, 7 silver cups, 3 cows, 4000 of wood called billets, one
manfare of flewys, one sprot-net, one manfare of shot net, & half part
of all my household goods (domicilium).
To each of my sons 20s/- to daughter Agnes 40s, & to
daughter Joan 20s/- & 3 silver cups. Cristine Inglot the duaghter of
my wife 10s/. Daughter Joan to have half of my small boats (batellorum)
& part of the Cabin of which the other part is held by Wm Toft; also
Joan to have one manfare of flewys, one manfare of shot-net, one bosnet,
one sprot-net, & one crow-hook.
Son Robert one manfare of shot net & two crow-hooks; son
John my best cloak & hood, also that tenement lately acquired from Wm
Brownflete with a kitchen.
Elianore the daughter of my wife to have one distraint called
an Hawser.
Wife to have for life my chief house, obtained from Wm atte
Water, with seven acres of land adjoining in one close at Orwelstone.
Residue among my sons. Executors: son John & Robert Hough.
