Thomas Samwell 10 April 1499. Buried in the churchyard next the grave of Edmond Hegon (Hogan) if it may be. Executor: Henry Morden. Feoffees: John Mannyng of Ivechurch & Clement Whitewod of Snave.
   If moveables not sufficient to pay debts etc then 10 acres in Ivechurch next the highway from Newchurch to Boltiscrosse be sold & the money for debts, bequests etc and to Agnes my wife & the residue for my soul etc. To the wife of Vincent Danyell & her heirs 6 acres in Brokeland but if no heirs then to Joan Unne my daughter & her heirs.
   Margaret my mother the lands I had from my father also the 3 acres bought of John Cladyshe of Ivechurch & to her heirs for ever.
   Wife Agnes for life 6 acres in a close at Ivechurch then to daughter Joan. The 4 acres in Ivechurch between Boltiscrosse and Persys Brigge and 5 acres in the same parish between Milbank and Phanysbrigge remain to Joan my daughter & her heirs.
   To the parish church of Snave to buy a set of vestments, viz a cope & all other vestments pertaining to the same to be prayed for in that Church £10. To the high altar of Lydd to be prayed for in the church a frontal & underfrontal of white & red damask.
