William Langhode 16 April 1476. To the Altar
of St Peter one coverlet.
All the contents of my house to be divided into 3 parts (1)
for my soul (2) for Thomas my son (3) to Joan my wife. Executors: Wife
Joan & Richard Bacon.
My messuage with appurts situated upon the Ripe to be sold
& the money to pay my debts. Wife Joan my chief messuage until full
age of son Thomas then to him & his heirs for ever, but if he die then
to be sold after death of wife Joan & the money for my soul.
