Hamon Lamberd 3 Sept 1485. To the Brotherhood
of St Margaret of Old Romney 20d & to the lights of St Christopher
& of St James of Old Romney each one cow.
Wife Alice all my household things, 2 cows, best mare, 6
ewes, 8 quarters of barley & 53s 4d. Residue of all goods &
chattels, after paying debts legacies etc for my soul.
Executors: wife Alice & Henry Lamberd. Feoffees: Robert
Lamberd of Dengemarsh & James Bate to sell my messuage in Lydd lately
obtained from John William & with the money a priest to celebrate in
the Church for a quarter of a year, for my soul, parents etc and to Joan
& Thomasine Vyner 20s each to their marriage, but if they die then the
money to be disposed for my soul; & to Petronilla daughter of Wm
Champion of Old Romney 13s 4d to her marriage, but if she die then to
William her brother & the residue of the money for my soul.
Residue of lands tenements etc at Old Romney to wife Alice
for her life & at her death the chief tenement in Old Romney to
daughter Joan & her heirs, & the other two messuages to Joan
Vyner.
