William Godfray otherwise called Fermor of Westbroke 30 Nov. 1455. To the high altar and work (fabrice) of the same church a cow & horse in equal portions. To Dom: Thomas parish priest 6d.
   Feoffees: John Godfray & John Kempe. I will 15 and half acres of land in Lydd & Midley whereof 8½ acres are in Lydd in the Fee of Bletching, abutting on the east to the lands of the brothers & sisters of the House of St John the Baptist in the Town of Romney & 7 acres in Newlond in Lydd of Midley in Sussex (sic) & Pikefolde, to John & Peter my sons paying to their sisters Agnes & Margaret five marcs (£3.6.8) each & to Joan their sister 33s 4d. All else equally between my children.
   Executors: John Godfray otherwise Fermor, junior & John Kempe. Witnesses: Henry Aleyn, John Benet, John Godfray senior otherwise Fermor, Michael Swan, Nicholas Trendelherst, John Barley, John Maket, James Galeway, Wm Leycroft.
