Richard Garard 1 March 1505. To the Brotherhood of St Peter 12d of St Katherine 8d & to the Mass of Jesus 8d. For one new chalice for the church & there to remain for ever £5.
   Ideve my wife to have & receive all the profits from all my boats & cabins until the time called Shot-time (ie mackerel) next coming after my death & afterwards all my boats & cabins to be sold & the money disposed by executors for my soul, & if Robert Hinxell will buy the boats & cabins he to have them at 6s 8d less than any other.
   To my daughter 20s, pair of sheets, coverlet, blanket, 6 pieces of pewter & 2 salts of pewter.
   The tenement in which Richard Dyne lives to be sold & from the money for a priest to celebrate in the church for my soul for half a year £3.13.4.
   Residue of all lands & tenements to wife Ideve for her life then to my sons & daughters but if they are dead then to be sold & the money disposed for my soul etc in works of charity. Witnesses Thomas Garard, John Gregory.
