William Elys 21 April 1480. To Thos Bunting parish clerk there 4d.
   Wife Isabelle all my household goods 4 cows, 2 horses, 2 mares, 2 bulls 60 ewes. Executors: Wife Isabelle & John Alkyn. Feoffees: Andrew Bate, Vincent Sedle & James Bate.  Wife Isabelle my chief Tenement & 7 acres near the spring (infra fonda) at Dengemarsh for life & also residue of lands & tenements until sons & daughters are 21, but son Stephen when 16 years to have the profits from the residue of lands etc.
   Daughter Joan to have acre of land formerly Henry Potyn’s & to her heirs for ever, also when she is 16 years of age the profits from the marsh formerly Henry Potyns. 
   If wife Isabelle be with child & a son then he shall share with son Stephen but if a daughter she to have two acres of land formerly John Somerton’s when 16 years old. Son Stephen & other son when 20 all the residue of lands & tenements. After death of wife Isabelle my chief tenement remain to son Stephen & other son when 20 & their heirs but if they die before 20 then to daughters when 20 years of age.
   Feoffees to receive estate of 2 acres of land late John Somerton’s at Dengemarsh & have custody of the children until they are 16 years of age.
