Edward Sponer, parson
of Old Rumney in Kent, 16 May 1549, 3 Edward VI. My bodye to be buried
etc. All dewtis due unto me at Old Rumney shalbe takyn & delyvered
unto Christofer Place & to William his brother & to Robert
Sponer of London, to consent & paye the Kings majestie for the first
fruytes of Seynt Swythynes in London (to be made up if necessary from my
moveable goodes lying wt in my parsonage at Saynt Swythens. Residue
betwene the foresaid Christofer William & Robert. Witnesses: Humfrey
Garthe, Wm Masen, Richard Eaton, Peter Songer, John Dunkyne with other
mor??????.
On 28 May 1549 adminstration granted to Robert Sponer, Christofer Place
& Wm Place. [PCC 32 Populwell]
