DENYSE MAYNARD, 16 January 1505. To be buried in the churchyarde of All Halowes of Stapylherst. To the light of our lady 4d., of Seint Cristofer 2d. My feoffes shall deluer immediately after my decesse to Robert my son, two croftes of land callyd Hoggs Crofts conteyning 5 acres of land more or lesse to be had foreuermore to the saide Robert.
To the meding of the lake before my gate 3s. 4d. To the churche of Stapilherst a torche price 6s. 8d. To Margaret my doughter my best gowne. To John my son two kene and a bed with other certein stuff if he can so be content and be in peace, if not this is my will he shall have noon.
I make Robert my son myn executour and to fulfill this my last will to the pleasure of God and helth of my soule and all cristein soules and John Sterme ouersear, and for his labour 20s. Theis wittenssyng John Godlham thelder, Thomas Bensky, John Sterme.
