Will 17 October 1540 ROBERT GIRDELER, 17 October
1540, to be buryed in the churche yarde of Marden. Vnto Geffrey Nasshe
at Marden my house and my lands at Ellorste for ever with all right and
tytell that I now have in Mardeyn. To my sister Alys 40s. to be payed by
Geffrey Nasshe my sole executor, 10s. to be payde within the space of a
monethe after he knoweth that I ame departed and so euery haulf yere
10s. vntyll the full 40s. be payde. if my sister dye I will her
childerne be payde yt which she hadd by Turnor her firste husbande. In
case they die then to the fowle way betwene Staplehurste churche and his
dwelling where most nede is. Vnto George Hanby 6s. 8d., Thomas Lawes 3s.
