ELIZABETH MYLLES widowe of William Mylles of the paryshe of Byddenden [Biddenden] in Kent 17 August 1559 1 Elizabeth. To be buryed in a convenyant place. Amonge poore people in dedes of charytie at the day of my buryall £5.
To my fowre sonnes Lawrence, John, Edward and Richarde Mylles 100 markes equaly devided when 20. If all die then my doughter Margarett to be theire heyre.
To Alice Ricardes doughter of Richarde Ricarde my worst gowne. To Rabage Webbe my seruaunt my next best gowne, one pewter platter and pewter dishe.
To my brother Richarde Wilkokes wif my best gowne. To Water Donnes wif one pewter platter. To Randall Sharpe, John Wryttle, and William Turnor the servants of Richarde Wilcoke 12d each. Denys Turner one pewter platter. Elizabeth Wenisiste one russett petycote.
My suster Stacye my best frocke and two payre of hoosen and 20s. To euery one of Clement Stace children 4d. Vnto -------- Burges wif of Cranebrook my best kyrtell and 12d., and euery one of his children 4d. Clement Stacy 12d., Richarde Ricarde 20d., Richarde Ricardes wif one old kyrtell and 12d and euery one of his children 4d. To William Mylles, Richard Hasenothe and Samuel Flete my godsonnes 12d each. To Agnes Hamound my goddoughter 12d. To Gregorye Mylles and his two suster euery of them 4d. To Thomasyne Weeke one sawcer. My suster Johanne Benden my best redde peticote and 40s.
My brother Richarde Wilcoks children, Walter and Jone one pewter platter. My brother William Wilcoks 5s. My brother Edwarde Wilcoke 13s. 4d. My brother Thomas Wilcoks 6s. 8d. My brother Richarde Wilcoke my furred gowne and £5. My brother William Wilcoks wif 5s. To John Grenefilde one flocke bedde.
My will is that my brother Richarde Wilcoke shall have £100 that is willed to my fowre sonnes untill my sonne Lawrence Mylles comith to the age of 20 yeres.
Residue to Margarett my doughter. My brother Richarde Wilcoke to be my executoure.
