SIMON TAYLOR of Paryshe of Byddenden [Biddenden] 14 July 1543. To be buried in churchyarde., In wex 3lb to brenne before the blessed sacrament in the church of Byddenden.
To euery of my doughters that wilbe honestly ordered by Katheryn my wif an honest porcon of my goodes. Residue to my wif Katherine except the implements of my workehouse and also the tenter and hurdells I bequeath to thuse of my sonnes.
Last will: of lands &e. in Byddenden. Same to Katherine my sayd wif during her life paying the lordes rents &e. and kepe my childerne and after her decease to my sonnes and if they die to my doughtes equally. [Children are not named].
Witness: Thomas Foster, Rychard Foster.
Proved 3 November 1545 by William Walker proctor for Katherine relict. (P.C.C. 41 Pynnyng)
