PERCIVAL AUSTYN of Goodherst [Goudhurst], 18 February 1556.
To Thomas Austyn my sonne all suche landes as be conteyned in a certyn deade bearinge date 10 January 2 & 3 Philip and Mary.
I will vnto the said Thomas one mesuage at Cortesden in parish of Goodherst in occupa-tion of the said Thomas, paying to Agnes my wief £8 by yere and after her decease to Walter Austen his brother 20 nobles a yere.
To James Awsten one messuage called Kingeswoode in parish of Stapleherst.
To William Awsten my sonne two messuages in parish of Betridren in thoccupation of the said William Awstyn and Richard Pettynden, excepte Cockes landes which I will to Margery Holmes my doughter.
Thomas my son executor.
Witness: Richard Awstyn, Robert Fisshynden, Agnes Awstyn and the wyf of Richard Awstyn.
Proved 27 February 1556 by Thomas Awstyn. (P.C.C. 7 Wrastley)
