clothemaker, 28 August 1530. To be buryed within the churche yard of
Smarden betwene the grave of my wife and my sonne. To euery of the
lights of Our Ladye and Sainte John the baptiste wt in the same churche
12d. For two yeres a taper of wax of the value of 12d. yerely to be made
and sett up before the ymage of Saint Mighell tharchaungell wt in the
said church of Smarden there to brenne in the tyme of devyne service. An
obyte during the tyme of 6 yeres spending 13s. 4d. and to poore people
6s. 8d. A prest to sing for my soule, my wifes soul, my frends and all
xpen soules wt in the said churche one hole yere and to have £6.13. 4. |
