ROBERT WEKES. 5 June 1518. To be buried in the church of Ebney. To reparacon of the same church 4 marcs. To a preest to synge for me, my wifs, my fader and moder by the space of a yere, 10 marcs. At my burying day 20s., thirtieth day 33s. 4d., at my yeres day 26s. 8d. To euery light in the said church of Ebney 12d.
Vnto John Wekes my brother a cote, a gowne and a paire of hosen.
Vnto John and Philip my sonnes all my lands.
To my two daughters, Johane and Margaret to either 10 marcs.
Executors: Stephyn Odyam and Thomas Asshem.
Witnesses: Sr. Henry Downham curate of the forsaid churche, Robert Dowle, John Pene and other moo.
Proved 28 July 1518 by executors. (P.C.C. 8 Ayloffe)
