JOHN LUCAS, esquire, 4 February 1550 (5 Edward VI). To be buried where yt please myn executors. To Anne my wyfe all her rayment, juells &e [and household stuff] and residue betwixt my said wyfe and sonne. My cosyn Thomas Pykett to have the keping of the said stuff. If my son die then to my brother Danyell Lucas. To William and Henry my servants 40s.
If it fortune my sonne Danyell and Danyell my brother to dye then my goods in three parts (1) to my cosyn Thomas Pykett (2) to my cosyn John Crocheman and (3) to the children of my brother Browne. My executors to pay to my wife £20 yerely and suertie by the advice of councell lernyd in the lawe of Aymery Saundes John Mayney gent and Thomas Turner.
Last will: 4 February of my lands and tenements in Highe Haullden in Kent which I stande seasyd in all which shalbe soulde by my said executors and the money ymployed in stocke as shall seem then best to vse of my sonne Danyell and delivered to him when 21 yeres of age.
Proved 4 March 1550.
Sentence between Anna Lucas widow and relict on one part, Thomas Pikett and John Crocheman executors on the other in favour of the will and executors. Testator died in London. (P.C.C. 7 Bucke)
