JOHN BOLLAY of Holingborne, 26 March 1500. To be buryed in the chirch of Holingborne. I will that Joane my wyf have the landis called Maister Clerks londs in the parissh of Strode tyme of her lyf and 14 acres of wod and londe that was somtyme Richard Nowen and the filde called Childrynfilde and a garden of Saveron all the tyme of hir lyf and to remaine vnto Philipp Bolley my sonne and his heiris and after the descease of hym it shall Remayne onto the childe beying in hir bodye and God sent itt lyfe.
Also to said Joane all my landes and tenements the which Maister Nicholas Halswell is feoffed in a dede and to remayne to Philypp Bolley my sonne and for defawte to the childe in her bodye. To Sr. John Rosebery a boke covered wt leuys of parchement wrytten in Sett hande. To Thomas Peny a long gowne of pewke and a doblet of worsted. To Annes Gildwyn a blewe gowne. To John Thompson a doblet of lether and my best shorte gowne. Residue vnto Johanna my wife and executrice.
Proved 11 February 1518 by Johanne relict. (P.C.C. 14 Ayloffe. This appears to be the same will as that proved 8 June 1501 P.C.C. 21 Moone).
