WILLIAM SYDNOR, 29 October [no year but probably 1514]. To be buried in the Blake Friers at Ludgate. To high aulter of my parishe churche of Seynt Patryk in Excetur 3s. 4d. My wyff to have the place that she dwellith in, paying yerely the lord his rent. The seid Joane my wyff my house in Norgate Strete in Exetur the signe of the Crowne valued at 26s. 8d. a yere, terme of her lyff and afterward to my children. To Richard Sydnor myn eldest sonne £40. Elisabeth my doughter to her mariage £40. To Kateryn my doughter to her mariage ---------. To Thomas my sonne by Joane my wyff after the decease of my seid wyff 5 marks a yere in lond in Egerton and in Bowton and £10 of mony. To Richard my sonne rest of my londs in Egerton and Bowton. To Powle my sonne £40 at lauful age. To my brother Sir Thomas Egerton chanon of Ledys in Kent £10. To my borther Maister Sir Richard Sydnor my best cup syluer and gylt. To my suster Margarett £10. To Roger Swethornden £10 and to eche of his children 10s. the which is for them foure 40s. To churche of Egerton a suete of white vestyments to value of £10.
Residue to my wyff myn executrice and Mr. Sir Richard Sydner executor.
Witness Sir Thomas Draper, clerke, Richard Wydder, salter, of the parishe of Alhalowes in Bredstrete and Edward Dormer, haburdassher in same parishe.
